About the Hill Country Alliance: The mission of the Hill Country Alliance is to bring together a diverse coalition of partners to preserve the open spaces, starry night skies, clean and abundant waters, and unique character of the Texas Hill Country.

My connection to the Hill Country: For generations my family has called the Hill Country region home for decades. I grew up visiting here throughout my childhood. I enjoyed spending time in nature, hiking mountains, hunting with my dad, collecting arrowheads, and driving around on the four wheelers.

In May 2024 I visited the ranch & nearby ranches to capture the beauty of spring in the Hill Country. I focused on the animals that I encountered during my time there and the wildflowers from all of the recent rains.
